Homemade Face Cream for Dry Skin

helping to remove makeup

If you suffer from dry skin, then you know how challenging it can be to deal with. The key to the perfect face cream for dry skin includes one that gives you long-lasting moisture without having an unpleasant finish that is too oily or greasy.
Making your own facial moisturizer can be a good way to customize your skin-care products and avoid dealing with expensive, chemically-enhanced facial creams from stores. Look into a simple three-step procedure for creating your own all-natural facial cream with light, essential oils to relieve dry skin.
1/2 cup coconut oil
1 teaspoon lime juice
1 teaspoon liquid lecithin
1/4 cup cucumber oil
1/4 cup sunflower oil
3 drops vitamin E oil
Homemade Face Cream Directions
1. Measure all ingredients into a blender.
2. Gently beat all ingredients together until thoroughly blended.
3. Once all ingredients are combined, pour the cream out into a plastic lotion dispenser bottle.
Tips and Uses
● This mix is based on an original homemade Dry Skin Night Replenishing Cream that I slightly altered to fit my ideal liking. If desired, you too can tweak and customize the mix by adding or substituting ingredients like natural fragrances or other essential oils.
Although this cream works especially well as a moisturizer for dry skin, this face cream can also be used to enhance the health of your skin in other ways as well.
● To soothe dry skin throughout the night, apply this cream to your face before bed.
● To use as a makeup base, simply apply a very small amount of face cream after you’ve washed your face and before you apply your makeup.
● To use as a makeup remover, apply the cream to your face over makeup. Allow the cream to sit for about three minutes and use a wash cloth and warm water to gently wipe the makeup off. The cream will moisturize your skin while helping to remove makeup.
