Gwyneth Paltrow is not shy about telling her opinion to the world. The candid star has often been in trouble for some of her less thought out comments, but for the March issue of Harper’s Bazaar, the stunning actress has revealed something that will have everyone cheering.
Talking to Harper’s Bazaar about aging, the 39-year-old beauty has stated, “I’ll take my wrinkles. I don’t like the Botox thing.” Paltrow, who appears on the cover of the March issue of the magazine in a revealing jumpsuit, is a regular detoxer but likes to indulge in food. “I eat whatever I want,” she says. “I like bread and cheese and wine, and that makes my life fun and enjoyable.”
While the Shakespeare in Love star likes her food, she is also a fitness devotee and works hard to maintain her enviable figure with trainer-to-the-stars Tracy Anderson. She credits the pocket-rocker trainer with getting her in “best shape of my life,” and at 39, the slender star does look better than ever.
Gwyneth Paltrow also works hard at being a mom and wife. In the Harper’s interview, the star opined that “I have little kids in school. I want to maintain my marriage and my family, so I have to be here when he (husband Chris Martin) comes home.” She further said that women who want a family must be “part of the equation…you have to be a wife.”
While her comments on marital issues may not go down well with everyone, the star is happy to laugh at her own mistakes, such as her fashion fail at the 2002 Oscars. The dress, which boasted an unflattering and revealing bodice, is widely regarded as the big fail on that red carpet, but Paltrow smilingly told Harper’s Bazaar, “I loved it! But I think the hair was a mistake. I shouldn’t have had it braided.” Well, she was certainly ahead of the fashion pack with braiding, as it’s one of the hottest hair trends right now, rocking runways and red carpets all over the globe.
